Focus on integrity and inclusion explains our approach to business ethics.

Integrity is all about how we live by our values.
Inclusion is about treating every person with dignity and respect and making sure that everyone has an opportunity to succeed and to contribute to the overall success of the business.

Today's business demands greater openness and trust than ever before.
"In today's business world, it's not only about what you achieve but also how you go about achieving it".

To succeed in business, we all must concentrate on doing
  • the right thing
  • for the reason
  • in the right way
The key to the Company's success is creating trust and respect for each other. The goal is to become a workplace where the contribution of every employee is valued.
For that reason the company should:
  • Respect the dignity of each employee
  • Listen openly to concerns and suggestions
  • Approach disagreements with an open mind
  • Follow the rules and laws that govern the business
  • Report criminal activity and serious misconduct immediately.
The company should become an equal opportunity employer and is committed to an environment free from discrimination.
It should be the responsibility of every employee to treat the colleagues fairly, with dignity and respect.

Ethics Quick Test
Each company values integrity and wants to maintain its reputation for doing the right thing. If you are ever in a situation where the right thing is unclear, ask for clarification or examine your
options with the Ethics Quick Test:
  • Could it harm the reputation of the company?
  • Is it legal and is it the right thing to do?
  • How would it look in the newspaper or on the news?
  • How would my friends, family, the community view it?
  • Is it consistent with company's values, policies and guidelines?
  • Should I check?
Judge By Appearance

"It is only shallow people who do not judge by appearances",-Oscar Wilde, The picture of Dorian Gray.

A professional image instills confidence in your ability to get the job done. While wearing a suit may not be required in all settings, neat, clean clothing is mandatory. You may punctuate your outfit with an item or two to reflect your personal style.

"We come into this world head first and go out feet first; in between, it is all a matter of balance",-Paul Boese.

Balancing professional and personal obligations in the legal industry can be complicated, especially when you are working with a large groups of people. If you have a flexible schedule, be sure to communicate your work hours to your coworkers.
Be respectful of others' schedule.

First Impression

"We rarely forget that which has made a deep impression on our minds",-Tryon Edwards.

Gratitude

"Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others",-Cicero.

Do not overlook the power of appreciation. everyone likes to be acknowledged for hard work or dedication to a business goal. Let your coworkers know they've done a good job-and do it sooner rather than later.
